true as you hear,
the heart grows fonder.
wish you were here,
so i would not wonder.
you would hear
my heart surrender
so close, my dear
though the oceans divide.
as the stars bless our night
i will be near.
be silent, my dear
wait for the night to bring the cheer
listen, my dear
for the wind,my voice it carries
my touch will carress
your skin with each gush.
close your eyes my dear,
stare into mine, the moon be your guide.

song of the heart.
There’s a voice in every soul,
A song in every heart,
A song of hurt
A voice of comfort
Even the broken sing
The voice breaks the hurt
Changes it into…
Laughter and joy
In me,
The song is dead
The voice, tired
Of catering for my hurt
In spite of all silence,
My song and voice lie elsewhere
In ones hands
Hands of gold
Hands with a golden touch,
Hands of precious love
Hands of tender care
Hands of a friend.
Always there,
To lift my falling bones,
Guiding my weariness through the valley
Healing my wounds
Your touch, tender love,
Shoulder I lean on
Shows your true self,
Friend!!

the way of the wake
Paying the last respects-
No respect!
Eye to eye, you never seen
With the deceased.
Now all hail, all praise, all reminisce
The good times, the laughter.
The great chapter in the book called life,
All read. We take a few minutes!
Silence!
In the heart, the joy,
The peace of the wake,
Awakes the cheer of fresh starts
Without the tick, the tock
Of fear, or even hate!
The new chapter rid of all logs in the eyes.
We love you in the grave.
We lower to the ground,
Some in love, others in hate
And the rest just to spectate!
As the drums get louder,
And the hums overpowered by wails
And tears, some of joy, others of sincere sorrow,
Another part is eagerly awaited!!
Feed the masses,
Their right, their prize for attendance,
For the contribution- none must miss!
Then the tug of war!
Who takes what? When?
And what will be divided?
None in the shoes of the bereaved!
The way of the wake!
No respect!
Eye to eye, you never seen
With the deceased.
Now all hail, all praise, all reminisce
The good times, the laughter.
The great chapter in the book called life,
All read. We take a few minutes!

people
I’m the girl on the street walking,
Dragging my feet, pausing
Running from me, running from life
This life so scary, I’m scared of the dive
So I run,
Into the unknown I jump,
I pump my fist ahead, make way
I’m coming close to a day I’ll stop running.
I’m the boy from the slum, begging
Looking for a future, searching
For a reason to live, a reason to keep
On the hustle, the struggle, the pain, the...
So I run, into the unknown
I throw away my rugs, pick up the bags
Walk, into a brighter day.
I’m the man of the house, providing
For a good life, struggling
For my family to love me
Dreading the night, not able to close
My eyes, Afraid of what I’ll see
Afraid of tomorrow
So I, gather the courage, stop suffering in silence
Make a difference so I can sleep again,
Leap again.
I’m the mother of five, juggling
Everything in my life, rushing
Late for this, beating deadlines for that
Mouths to feed, deadlines to meet
Kids to mother, a husband to smother
All these needs, only
One me,
So I, gather my pride, gather my tools
Stand tall and be thankful for what I got
Walk tall, stand strong and shove my way
Into a glorious day.
Dragging my feet, pausing
Running from me, running from life
This life so scary, I’m scared of the dive
So I run,
Into the unknown I jump,
I pump my fist ahead, make way
